Is this the only remaining 3 door version of a big 4wd left?

I remember when the LandCruiser, Parjero, Jackaroo and Patrol had little 3 door cousins too :(

G'day Nicholas

Toni has actually updated her thoughts on the Prado after driving it for the week and I was supposed to add a link to the new piece she wrote but forgot.

I'm also overdue writing my review of it and in lots of ways what I thought about the SX coincides with what you've said. It just eats up the miles so effortlessly and is a real fuel miser.

hey! horses for courses I suppose - the 3 door is my next car because of its presence on road (this includes height), its great engine, towing capacity and the fact is I would never use the seven seats in the five door in a pink fit....Offroad the Prado is a touring legend because of its big capacity tank and the heap of aftermarket goodies available. The short wheelbase has much better rampover as well. Cant wait to trade my Landcruiser. Despite the promo to younger drivers I can see the three door would be a pain to the Toorak Tractor set and I bet the grey nomad dreamer types like me will go for it more!
